Banff Sweet Shoppe has the largest selection of Salt Water Taffy in Banff National Park as well as the largest selection of Pez. We stock all your favourite Retro candy as well as Imported candies from Britain, Europe & Japan. Chocolates, Fudge and Candies are cut, measured and packaged to order right in front of you, which means the freshest product exactly how you want it. Banff Sweet Shoppe is an experience like no other in town, a place where everyone can feel like a child in a candy store.

About Us

Banff Sweet Shoppe has been locally owned and operated since 2002. Elaine (Store Owner) dreamed of a store where everyone in Banff would find something they like, and could leave Banff with a memory worth talking about for generations; and Banff Sweet Shoppe was born. Elaine is a Bow Valley local; born in the UK, she has been a Banff resident for over 30 years. Elaine has been a constant presence in Banff & Canmore retail businesses for almost 3 decades. Elaine is passionate about providing a memorable experience for customers in the store and is always looking for new and fun features for the store. 

Hannah joined the team in 2016 as Store Manager. Hannah comes from a broad Retail, hospitality and administration background and is passionate about customer experience and product variety. Hannah is always looking for ways to evolve the store and to increase the variety of products for our customers, You will most likely spot her floating about the store so please introduce yourself and provide some feedback or ask about an idea you have, she'd love to hear from you.

Shawn has been running the kitchen for Banff Sweet Shoppe for over 15 years. Making time outside of his Full Time job to make delicious Chocolates & Fudge for the store is a passion project for Shawn, which really shows in the quality of his product. There are no large machines or mass production of Shawn's products just hand made goodness filled with love. Shawn is passionate about creating new flavours and textures for our customers; we'd love to hear your ideas.
